Candito, Artisanal Candied Fruits
Candito is dedicated to honouring natural raw ingredients through artisanal expertise and every product is handcrafted, respecting long-standing recipes.
From a graphic designer’s perspective, Candito was an incredibly rewarding project, being involved from day one allowed me to shape a truly cohesive and intentional brand experience across every touchpoint. My approach centrered on capturing the essence of the product: natural, handmade, and joyfully nostalgic. I drew inspiration from vintage confectionery labels and blended that with a clean, modern aesthetic to ensure the brand felt fresh and relevant in today’s market.
Designed custom jar labels, delivery boxes, business cards, and an instruction sheet that brings a friendly, homemade touch to the unboxing experience.
Built the Candito website using squarespace platform: a simple, inviting space where customers can learn about the business, browse the range, and place orders.
Launched and curated the brand’s Instagram presence, sharing seasonal creations and special edition releases for occasions like Christmas and Easter.
The social media approach was designed to be warm, engaging, and community-driven, keeping the audience connected to the story behind each product.
Conducted competitor research and helped define Candito’s market positioning. This involved analysing similar local and international brands in the gourmet and artisanal sweets space to identify visual trends, pricing strategies, tone of voice, and packaging approaches. Through this research, I was able to position Candito as a premium yet approachable brand, celebrating craftsmanship, quality ingredients, and seasonal creativity, while standing out with a vibrant and joyful aesthetic.
